~Turmeric Beauty Secrets~



Turmeric is an excellent exfoliating agent, good for wrinkles, acne, skin brightening, treats eczema, has anti-septic and anti-bacterial properties. Helps with pigmentation, sun damage, lightens stretch marks, burn marks, improves circulation, improves skin tones, heals wounds, and cuts.



Honey .&. Turmeric Face Mask- Honey has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, is used to treat skin problems, and this mask is very moisturizing.

Mix 1 tablespoon of Raw Organic Honey with 2 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder into a paste, apply it to your face, leave it on for 15 minutes, and rinse well with lukewarm water.




Turmeric Foot Softener-


Mix together 2 teaspoons of warmed up Coconut Oil, 2 teaspoons of Turmeric Powder, apply it to your feet, Massage the paste all over your entire foot, including heels, toes, and in between toes. Put on some socks (use socks that you don't mind being stained) leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. Apply Coconut Oil after as a natural moisturizer.





Turmeric .&. Yogurt Face Mask For All Skin Types -
Mustard Oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, has tons of Vitamins and Minerals, very excellent for the skin.
Mix 2 tablespoons of Plain Yogurt with active cultures, 1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder, and 1 tablespoon of Mustard Oil until smooth. Apply the paste gently and equally with a facial mask brush or spatula onto your clean face , leave it on  for 15 minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water and end with a splash of cold, pat your skin dry and apply a natural moisturizer.





Turmeric facial mask For Acne Prone Skin- 
Mix 2 tablespoons of Curd, 1/4 teaspoon o Turmeric Powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Sandalwood Powder  until you have a smooth paste. Gently and equally apply the paste to your clean face with your fingertips,  leave the mask on for 15 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water and also using a soft warm wash cloth, and finish with a splash of cold water.

Turmeric .&. Chickpea For Glowing Skin-
Chickpea Flour absorbs oil, Turmeric  is a great anti-inflammatory and antiseptic, and almond oil is an excellent moisturizer. 

Mix 1 cup of Chickpea Flour,  3 tablespoons of Turmeric Powder, Almond Oil (enough to form a paste)
Apply the paste  to your clean face and body, leave it on for 4  minutes. Rub and exfoliate the mixture off with your hands. Wash the rest off with lukewarm water. This can be done once a week for radiant, glowing, and beautiful skin. 




NOTE: Turmeric stains, so you may have to rinse your skin off a few times to remove the color.

Nail Care Tips














*Nail Fungus*




Tea Tree Oil Fungal Hand Soak: Mix 1/2 of cup of warm Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, 6 drops of Tea Tree oil and 1/2 cup of warm distilled Water in a large bowl.Soak your hands 2 to 3 times a day to kill the fungus.





Oregano Fungal Nail Oil (Oregano Essential Oil is an anti-septic and fungicide):
Mix 2 drops Oregano essential oil and 1 teaspoon of Olive oil.
Rub it on your nails twice a day everyday for 3 weeks.






*Nail Growth*




Olive Oil And Lemon Soak For Nail Growth:
Mix 3 tablespoons of Olive oil and 1 tablespoon of fresh Lemon juice. Soak your nails for  10 minutes to strengthen them. Do this once a week.





Nail Hardening Scrub: 
Blend together 1 tablespoon of Olive oil, 1 tablespoon of Castor oil
1 teaspoon of honey, and 1/2 cup of Shelled Walnuts (grind the walnuts until it forms a coarse powder)Rub your hands and nails. Rinse with warm water and pat dry, use twice a week.





*Peeling Nails*



Lavender Nail Soak: 
Mix 1 tablespoon of  Hemp Seed Oil and 5 drops of Lavender Essential oil  in a small bowl. Soak  your nails for 15 minutes. Rinse well with water.




Garlic Nail Soak:

Soak your nails in 1/2  cup Garlic oil for 15 minutes daily.  The Garlic will harden your nail bed. This will help to strengthen peeling and weak nails. 




*Stained Nails*


Baking Soda And Peroxide:
Mix 1 tablespoon of  Hydrogen Peroxide with 2 1/2 tablespoons of Baking Soda until a thick paste is formed. Apply a small amount of the paste to your fingernails and allow it to sit for 3 to 4 minutes, and then rinse with water.



Lemon Juice: 
Lightly buff your (unpolished) nails and soak them for 10 minutes in fresh Lemon juice every other day.







*Dry Cuticles*


Essential Oils:
Apply Jojoba, Olive, Sweet Almond, Coconut or Vitamin E oils on your cuticles, massage it in, and leave it on without rinsing, this can be done twice daily. Or you can warm up Vegetable oil and apply it to your cuticles.
